How it works
Fourteen squares each way with the corners cut off, four armies on the four edges, and play going clockwise from Red. Each army's pawns march towards the opposite side, so they capture "forward and across" from their own point of view.
Red and Yellow play Blue and Green: you cannot capture your partner, and their pieces block you. An army that is out leaves its pieces where they stood, greyed out: they never move again, still block, and can be taken for nothing.
An empty seat is played by whoever is at the board, so you can share one screen.
